Readers rides/The Scanner Danner Garage

posted Jun 06, 2016 11:37:53 by Noah
It has occurred to me that although we all come from different backgrounds and walks of life, the one common thread we share is a passion for cars. I seriously doubt that there's a single member of this forum who hasn't fallen in love with a chunk of iron and rubber.
Even if it doesn't make it to this platform, I'd like to see a section for members to post pictures of their cars, trucks, boats whatever, and maybe even build threads.
Any interest?

Man, how did I miss this thread? Shame on me! I love this idea, especially after the ScannerDanner truck lifting series.

My ride isn't nearly as exciting:

It's almost always the guinea pig for any 'experiments' I do and post here.

No sweat.
I've missed quite a bit as of late myself. I keep falling asleep in the middle of part one of the gm shorted coil primary series!
No offense to Paul, great content and quality, just getting run down trying to balance work and home.

Damn your southern rust free cars! Scion xA right? What do you think of the center dash pod configuration? better, worse indifferent?

especially after the ScannerDanner truck lifting series.
You should have seen the 3" junkyard lift I made when my 94 Explorer was my daily driver.
Now it's my tool box/jump start/tow rig at the yard. Man did we have some good times in that little tank!
Infact, I only bought my Mustang because it is the same Ford Emerald Green!
You can kind of see the 5.0 5spd Ranger I never got around to finishing poking out under the blue tarp.

And of course the parts hauler, my daily driver, the 99 Navigator.

Ummmmm, kinda meh on nowadays, thought it was kinda cool when I bought it. It's not nearly as awkward as most people expect.

Bwahahahahahahaha, I love it! Is it juvenile of me that I think this is awesome?

Ford, eight cylinders, high displacement, RWD... I think I'm seeing a trend here ;-)

Here's a cool little rig I made with a Sawzall and a 5spd Civic.
Teaching a new kid how to do reverse donuts in a FWD car. I was calling it The DelCamino. Part Del sol, part El Camino, all stupid.

The clutch didn't live as long as I hoped, but they all end up in the crusher any way.
